I have always admired how Kings of Leon has evolved their sound over the years! Each record is consistent but still fresh and their song “Pyro” is certainly a standout tune for me. It feels both big and small… open and yet intimate. We leaned into that feeling and the lyrics for this arrangement. It was a lot of fun working on this one and messing with the instrumentation!
